In a perfect world, someone would make a 3d printed bracket to hold a HDMI port and 2 usb ports (driven by a rapidroad or something) and have it fit where the RF modulator is.

Think it's reasonable to assume that pretty much everyone will realize that the RF modulator is of little use. However... not everyone will want to alter the original case, I guess...
Personally, I'll remove the RF modulator and likely mount some kind of 3d printed bracket with HDMI connector.

Rf-modulator hole is big enough to fit vga without changing a case. So it should fit hdmi easily.
Maybe I chose my words poorly. I know it fits. I mentioned a 3d printed backplate to hold a connector. So room for plastic around the connector :-)
What I meant was that there are ppl (purists / collectors etc) who don't wanna alter the original look of their Amigas by permanently removing a part from the motherboard which can also be seen from the outside.

Yep, exactly. I'm fairly sure you could fit HDMI + two vertically placed USB ports in the space. I've never done anything 3d printing related, but this might just motivate me to... once I finally get my board, that is. :)

Is it easy to remove the rf modulator? I'm not as handy with a soldering iron as I'd like to be.

can anyone here suggest the best and cheapest hdmi cable for the vampire. ive heard that bigger cables can pop the card off?
