Got a few books: No Regrets by Ace Frehley, I am Ozzy by Ozzy Osbourne, Kaiken käsikirja by Esko Valtaoja and Bond on Bond by Sir Roger Moore.

The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-ray.

Soundgarden - King Animal and Laura Närhi - Tuhlari on CD.

And socks and underpants. Can't have too many of those. :D

Forgot to mention I also got some new Nike Air Max Basketball Shoes

I already installed my new SSD into my Netbook and bought Windows 8, I'm really impressed how fast it boots and runs, amazing what a difference getting rid of the Turd of an OS Vista and 5400rpm HDD can make

Oooo, I also got a Blu Ray burner so quite a good haul this year!

I saved a bunch of money by not buying anything this Christmas and didn't receive any present either. Just spent some time with the family and friends.

Feel so rich compared to other spending Christmases..

Got my C64 working with the 1541...
No, not a new C64 or 1541..
No, not new parts for either...

My 1541 serial cable was home-made, and my soldering ain't that good, so it disconnected at a few solders...

I figured, since I know my soldering is really bad, it was just me...
But (and I'm still bad, not arguing that..) I got a hot air / solder re-work station (852++).

Just tried it, and I fixed the bad solders just like that...
Wow...

Not that I'm all of a sudden good, but with my old cheapo Radio Shack soldering iron, that wouldn't have been possible from me...

In fact, my new solders worked so good, I'm going to have to undo all of them and do them all again... ;-)
But I'll do that later, had to test it first, and played a bit of LodeRunner..

So, yep 852++ station for Christmas. Also got some DVDs and some clothes.

(Yes, part of the motivation for the re-work station is my 1200.. He's been good, but I know he'll need CAPs and I live too far away to send him to Amigakit. So when I'm better, I'll do caps on him and on my Vectrex (which will probably be first as he takes a good 3-4 minutes to start the first time he's powered on after sitting for a bit. I know he needs caps..)

A puffer jacket and house wear bottoms which is great for going to Karate in.

A pair of jeans and some socks.
Don't laugh! I really needed new jeans.

Three weeks ago I also finally upgraded my 4 year old PC, I guess that's the biggest present I got for myself this year.
Went from an overclocked Core2Duo E8400 w. 4GB RAM to the following;
i5-3470, 16GB of DDR3, a micro-ATX case and micro-ATX mobo (Z77-based).
I also got one of those closed radiator/heatsink things from Corsair, a H60.
Kinda looks like this, although this isn't my comp per se:

Compared to my P182 there are 4 less fans fans, better sound insulation and more openings "plugged" on this case (Fractal Define Mini), so it's a helluva lot quiter and nicer to use than the old one.

I'm very pleased with this build, kinda cheap too since I reused the modular PSU (again) and the graphics card (ATi 6870) from the old comp.

Oh, and the Samsung 830 128GB SSD is mad fast to load programs, with the low access times and high burst read speed. I'll never buy a comp without SSD again, very high performance boost right there.

Several bottles of liqueur and wines, rather large pile of calendars, pencils and other office material, ...and a pout-pourri :-)

A nice bottle of wine, some choccies and (hopefully) Elite Dangerous.

Santa Claus brought me a nice black AmigaOne X1000, together with Assassin's Creed 3 and some LEGO games for PS3. :p

I got:
Money
Socks
Boxer shorts
Aftershave
A calendar
Sweets

Thinking of buying myself a Nexus 7.

I got a 47" LCD TV from myself & wife, some clothes, a blu-ray home theater and a Mac LC 020 with original monitor from a friend!!! :woot:

Plus a lot of little retrolicious cards and chips. Not bad at all!

I got a cold, no change there then

least I can still come here and meet lots of lovely ppl :)

I got a Nexus 7 with funky bluetooth keyboard / case, Max Payne 3 (great game other than it crashes every 10 minutes?), Sins of a Solar Empire, some new tools and a cold. Great time :)
