For anyone else starting from scratch, here's what you need to do:
1) format the SD card in exFAT format. (Or FAT if the card capacity is small, never NTFS though)
2) Create a file on the SD card called "Create xxxxM HDu0_bbbb.txt" where 'xxxx' will be the size in Megabytes of the emulated drive before partitioning etc. 'u' is the SCSI unit number, and 'bbbb' is block size. (The LUN is always 0)
So for example the text file would be called something like:
Create 10240M HD30_8192.txt
Which would create a 10GB disk as SCSI unit 3, LUN 0, with a block size of 8192.
3) Put the SD card in the ZuluSCSI, connect everything up, when you first turn the Amiga on, the ZuluSCSI will start creating the image. The green LED will flash rapidly as it's creating the image. THIS CAN TAKE AGES SO DON'T POWER OFF.
4) When the LED stops flashing, the inage creation is finished. Reboot the Amiga. You can now partition it like you would a normal hard disk. Note that the block size in HDToolbox must match the size that you specified when creating the image.
There are of course a lot of other ways of doing things, and it can get quite complicated, but this will at least get you going.
Hope this helps
