The IDE and RAM boards together works great and makes WHDLoad possible. Really slick!

Anyone using the 402 IDE board and the 8MB board together in a 500? When stacked, it's a few mm too tall and the keyboard no longer lays flat in the case. Does the riser board move the stack enough to avoid this? Any suggestions?

BTW, while the 8MB board fits an NTSC 1000, the stacked combination does not. It rubs up against the floppy drive. It needs an offset board like the Kipper2k boards.

I found out that the riser board 'consumes' the headroom it makes, still missing a few mm and touching the keyboard. (A500 case and keyboard, a500+ mainboard)
The riser card might barely work if the ram board were soldered directly to it, saving a socket's height.

So for (standard case) A500, 1000, there is not enough space to fit. I'm going to try with amiga 2000.
During the week i should be getting new ram pcbs that would not need a separator socket.

It should be possible to build an external combination with the external dip-64 adapter to a500 side connector.

AMike, at the moment I have one v402 with boxed(walled) ide connector, but no cf adapter.

I will be able to ship any sold items during next few days, but maybe not for a few weeks after that.

Pin headers on bottom, upto 3 sockets on top.

The "ground" plane is not connected to any pins by default, so board can be flipped and rotated, and possible ground connection made then.
Place for capacitors and solder bridge connections to ground pins when used in "default" orientation.
Board not tested so far.

The riser card doesnt allow v4x ram boards in the middle.
When at the edge position, v4x ram board would cover middle dil-64 position pads, left row.
