Actually seems like "rfsh_cas" register was needlessy asynchronously cleared in a bad time in the middle of refreshing, from cpu /as pin low.
At least removing this line seems to fix the bug so that mc68hc000 cpu works with the ram.

Interested in IDE no ram for CDTV (assuming my existing diag port 8mb ram upgrade will still function)

A unit with broken track fixed with wire, 70€.

edit: wire superglued. Will wrap tape a few rounds around the pcbs to protect. After scratching off any superglue on ram config in out pads in case they will be ever used .
Jtag header not to fit under a500 kbd, A1k,2k cdtv should fit.

Interested in the soldered combination 8MB+IDE for A500

Hi, I'm interested in the soldered combination 8MB+IDE for my A500 rev. 6a, thank you.

UPDATE: Tried a different CF adapter and now both RAM and IDE work like a charm.

Great work mkl, thank you!

Some ideboards supply +5v and some +3.3v to pin 20 of ide header.

Some female connector cf-ide adapters seem have diodes in power lines, maybe preventing +5v floppy connector supply going to pin 20 of ide/ vice versa. Diode may drop +3.3v from pin 20 too low and connecting +5v powers the cf card to 5v-diode drop voltage?

Yes, I had to power the CF adapter with the floppy connector (adapter only had a 39-pin IDE connector), so I guess I'm using an external floppy drive unless I can piggy-back the power (not that I really need a floppy now that I have a HDD).

Anyway, great to have everything working, this a a great board and cheapest way I know to get an A500 WHD-load capable.
