hi ed any chance of helping ramparts out and sharing your fine case measurements

Hi guys,

Just saw ramparts request for PCI measurements. Will do as soon as I can, doing some major DIY at the mo', so haven't been online much.

Just one point though, my PCI slots came from an old PC tower so may be different to what you have ramparts. I'll add the measurements, but they might not be of any use to you.

Cheers

Hi Rakeim, I'm afraid I do not know, sorry . It was an export from Corel Draw X3. However I am trying out the new version of CorelDraw X6 and there appears to be several DXF export versions. Can you let me know which one would you need and I'll try to create a new export.

Versions available; R2.5, R2.6, R9.0, R10, R11, R13, R14, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.

i have noticed something the green wire on keyboard chip seeems to be concted to pin 37 .
Shouldn´t it be on pin 38 kb reset according to keyboard chip pinout?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ramparts,

I was pretty careful in checking the connections but I am only human , mistakes could be made for sure. I think it's ok though because it works.

Are you doing something similar and having problems?

Cheers,
Ed.

Yes i am doing my tower project that unfortunatly some work have put me off line ,

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=64474

also i am developing some hardware like this and according to the schematics it should be on pin 38 ,maybe some time when you have to put something in your tower you can confirm this issue .
A friend of mine liked the simbol on your tower and i reproduced him on a pc tower ,he is all happy ,and he says when finish his project he will post on the web so maybe soon i will sent you some pictures of it :)
your work was indeed very good that is the result when man and will are on top.

Best wishes JOSÉ

Hi JOSÉ,

You are correct my friend, I have connected the green wire to the wrong pin. I believe this is because I removed the end pin next to the crack in the socket and then counted two pins from that end when I soldered the wire on, of course it should have been three pins from the end.

Well spotted. :) ...and I'm sorry for any confusion.

I'm not sure if this post will work, Amibay and IE-10 seem to be playing up today.

Kind regards,
Ed.

I have a sharp eye :D

i am glad to help any one who are interested in towering the amiga.
your tower is great:thumbsup: i must confess i was planing in the beggining to buy one like yours but the shipping and the budget framed me :)

Best Wishes Ed

Just added a new JPG drawing to page 1 with dimensions for the PCI cutout. Second jpg link down, CaseRearPanel2.jpg. Please let me know if you need anything else added.

Hi Ed. Hope this request will find you well.

I'd love to have the dimensions for the PSU and the fan... I believe the fan dimensions will be very easy to find by myself, but what is the form factor you used for the PSU ? I looks small but great inside...
