Hoping to use a USB card reader once I get USB sorted out, for now its ok there at the back, the Tower is in a position where its easy to access the back and swap the card. Its only for transfer of files as its on the 2nd IDE port & can run without the CF card in place

Then consider a SubWay card as I fitted to ravestar's rig in the photo booth. You could than lash a nice USB card reader offering you more than just CF.

Just trying to set up the Sound, after installing drivers and booting I get a pop up box to say that it can't load the mixer.
Guess there's something I have to setup, I'd better...

The mixer program is broken out of the box.
I need to remember how to fix it as I never hooked a sound card in my MediTator.
BTW: why you don't have a Realtek 8139 hooked in? It is a lot faster than any PCMCIA card you can hook in the Amiga PCMCIA port.
