Just curious. Does a cable exist to connect a Raspberry pi to the 9pin rgb on the commodore 1084S? I have hdmi to composite working but I'd like better quality offered by rgb.

That all depends on the hdmi converter. If you find one that outputs rbg + composite sync such cable could be built. But I really do not know, if such hdmi to scart converter exists. You must look for a converter that does not output cvbs but rgb.

That's what I've been looking for. I found hdmi to scart, which coupled with the 9pin rgb to scart female I have that I use to connect my Amiga via scart, should of worked. I've seen a YouTube clip showing a pi connected to 1084 and it looks better than mine. I think it's hooked up via VGA somehow as I can see a VGA adaptor. The guy doesn't say how it's done and I've asked. Would love to know

Hello. Can you make a special cable whith db25 for the amiga, and vga/scart for and lcd tv. My tv works like a charm with your vga cable im vga mode in workbench, but in amiga mode, my tv say : bad signal in red. So if you can make a cable, i can switch tv mode of the tv for native modes, and vga mode for vga.
Elsewhere with your cable in vga mode is... Perfect.
My tv sucks in native mode.

Do you mean amiga DB23->SCART cable? Those I sell in the thread here:

Because most TV's can only run with >31kHz in VGA mode and in SCART mode Amiga native PAL will run ok. Monitors such as BenQ BL* can display both 15kHz and >31kHz on VGA input.

Interesting. Not an easy task, but probably such cable could be made, but still I am not sure if it would work as expected.
15kHz capable monitor is a better solution I think.
